What are Eyelash Extentions?Eyelash extensions are a great way to enhance your natural appearance without the daily use of mascara or false lash strips. Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural lash. One lash extension is applied to one natural lash to add length and thickness to your eyelashes. When applied correctly, classic eyelash extensions should feel and look natural!

How long will they last?Eyelash Extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your lashes, so 30-45 days on average. Depending on your growth cycle and how well you maintain your lash extensions will determine how long they will last. We recommend a fill every 2-3 weeks for best results. Anything after 2-3 weeks we recommended a new full set. This procedure is semi-permanent, as your natural lashes will continue to grow and fall out. Normally, making touch-up or “fills” appointments is necessary to maintain the original look achieved by replacing the lashes that have fallen out. Most clients require a fill appointment every 2-3 weeks.
-
Are they safe?We use a professional-grade adhesive as well as take extra precautions and cleanliness when performed. If you have had a history of allergic reactions or sensitivity we recommend consulting with your physician before having the service done. If a reaction is to occur, contact your lash technician and have the lashes removed as soon as possible. Lash extension services have some inherent risk of irritation to the orbital eye area, including the eye itself. This could result in stinging and burning, blurry vision, and potential blindness, should the adhesive enter the eye or an allergic reaction occur. Understand that some irritation, itching, or burning may occur on the skin if the bonding agent comes into contact with it.
-
Can I use mascara?Mascara is not needed when lashes are applied since lash extensions give the appearance that you are already wearing mascara. However, if you would like to use mascara, make sure that it is a water-based formula and not oil. Ever so slightly coat the tips of the lashes, do not drag from the bottom up. When you remove the mascara, use an oil-free makeup remover
-
Can I swim, shower or vist a spa?"One of the benefits and main reason people get Eyelash extensions is that you can swim with them! You want to avoid getting them wet or laying face down for the first 48 hours. Any of the following can cause the adhesive to expand, causing an allergic reaction.
-
Can I use an eyelash curler? An eyelash curler is not necessary since the lash extensions are curled and give the appearance of curled lashes. If you must, we recommend using a heated eyelash curler and avoid using a manual lash curler since it can cause the lash extensions to break off or damage your natural lashes.
-
Do they damage your natural lashes? If performed properly by a certified Lash technician, they will not damage your natural lashes. However, this depends on how well you maintain them, which is also dependent on the condition of your natural eyelashes.

How do I take care of my eyelash extentions? The first 48 hours is important, you want to avoid water on or around your eyes, sleeping face down, products that are oil based and a manual eyelash curler. After the 48 hours you should continue the same steps besides avoiding water on the eyes. After 48 hours you are able to get them wet.
